Calm before the Storm

Throughout medical school I kept a blog to keep me sane. I loved looking back at the adventures and stories from colleagues.....then as match year came I had to get rid of it :(


SO this is the new one for the next chapter of life. RESIDENCY. 3 years where I will push myself to new boundaries and just lose a lot of sleep.

Basically I'm trying to read anything I can get my hands on to prep myself for the train of information every attending is going to throw at me. The internship survival guide has been my choice for just a pre-orientation. 

Since this is the story of my life I'm putting key points on some flashcards with a little ring- No one wants to look like a complete moron.. I prefer geek. 

I also have to keep focused on the future fellowship I want to attain and complete as much research as I possibly can. 

SO let's set some goals and put them in the internet world so now I would HAVE to try my very hardest to complete (I'll give myself 3/4 months for these): 

1. Convince myself that I'm actually a doctor 

2. Take Step 3 

3. AT LEAST try to be in the middle of the milestones criteria.
